Why host a "Business After 5" event?
Steps to organize a successful "Business After 5" event
- Exposure of your business location and services, products and promotions
- Great networking opportunity for business owners and current/future employees
- Shows involvement and pride in your (business) community
- A way to get new ideas and feedback regarding the products and services you offer
Steps to organize a successful "Business After 5" event
- Contact us with a possible date, either via [email protected] or 608-323-2319.
- If the date works, we'll send out email invitations to all chamber members.
- You can decide if your event will be exclusively for chamber members and their employees OR also open to the public/your customers.
- You can also partner up with another business that may have more space than you OR happens to be a neighbor OR maybe your products/services complement each other etc.
- At the event, we recommend offering food and beverages as well as door prizes to draw people to your event (responsibility of event host, not chamber)
- To make your event attractive, you could consider choosing a theme (seasons, sports team, holiday etc.).
- Have a sign-in or door prize table at the entrance of your business to track how many people attended (chamber secretary can help with that)
- Consider offering tours of your business or say a few words about your business' history and products/services during your event
- "Business After 5" events usually last from 5-7pm, but is open to be adjusted according to your needs
- Chamber board members will do their best to attend your event and take pictures to post on our website and social media after the event.
