24 Miles Independence to Elk Creek
An extraordinary pleasure awaits. This loop has wide sweeps of lush countryside, gentle climbs and long ridges. Take a mile divert stop at Elk Creek for a break with food and refreshments. Climb Hwy 121 untiul you reach Peterson Road (a quarter mile of gravel) and return on breathtaking roads back to Independence.
