Tour 'de Trempealeau
was a 1, 2 or 3 day weekend bike tour,
which was held on
September 19, 20 and 21st of 2003.
Tour 'de Trempealeau took those who attended through some of the most scenic roads in the Midwest. They traveled through this un-glaciated land called the coulee region and experienced the seclusion of rustic back country roads, Amish country, quaint towns and villages and the exhilarating views from the ridge tops, and then finished at the Mighty Mississippi River!
The ride traveled 140 to 160 miles of primarily county and township roads across Trempealeau County. Most of the roads used have low traffic rates of 3 vehicles per hour.
Support vehicles were available to sweep the route for any bicyclists having difficulties. Snacks and refreshments were supplied at the start and at points along the route.
